Malaria is one of the most stubborn diseases this world has ever experienced; the good news is that the fight is now on for its elimination.

While scientists are working hard to produce a vaccine, we continue using the available tools and resources to fight malaria and save lives.

Last week we witnessed the arrival of Kanye West and his wife Kim Kardashian in Uganda. They were baptised by the Ugandan President, Kaguta Museveni, with the names: Kanyesigye, meaning trust, and Kemigisha, meaning blessings. The couple hasn’t encountered malaria during their time in the country.
